NCYF would like to provide our members with some valuable information regarding our equipment and the training our coaches must complete before day one of each season.
We send our helmets back to Riddell at the end of every season to be reconditioned. The helmets go through a variety of tests. Please take a look at the link below to see how the tests are run and the outcome of the testing.
In addition, ALL of our coaches must be concussion training certified before the beginning of each season. NCYF sponsors this training for all of our coaches. Please see the link below for a bit more information on concussions, what they are, how the occur, and treatment.
